Sea kayak tour is a nature sport. One of the rare places where you can participate in this nature sport is Kaş. Sea kayaks are very different and much more professional equipment than ordinary canoes. Sea canoes are sea transportation vehicles that have been used since the time of the Inuit. You can easily explore bays and caves with sea kayaks, which are nature-friendly vehicles.

If you would like to see Kekova and Batıkşehir closely, get information about Lycian history, and engage in a different activity during your holiday, we recommend the sea kayak tours we organize for you. We start at 08:00 in the morning by moving from Kaş to the Kekova region with our vehicles. In Üçağız village, where we will launch our canoes on our tour, our experienced guide will give you brief information about using sea canoes and give you your equipment. You will start paddling to Batıkşehir in the crystal clear waters of Kekova with our single or double canoes.

Before starting our tour, our experienced guide will give basic information to our guests who will be sea kayaking for the first time, such as sitting positions in the sea kayak, rowing, getting on and off the canoe. We will start moving after life jackets and other equipment are distributed to our guests. Don’t forget to take your hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and towel with you. All you need to wear is shorts, a t-shirt and slippers.

We will row through the historical ruins, some of which are under water and some of which are on land. At our first stop, you will have the chance to swim in the historical Tersane Bay and you will get detailed information about the region from our guide. After our break, we will tour Batıkşehir in detail with our canoes, and you will witness history while passing over the shipwrecks.

Our second stop is Simena (Kaleköy), which has no road transportation. While visiting the authentic village, you will watch the most beautiful view of all Kekova from the historical castle. You will see the world’s smallest ancient theater located inside the castle. After our time here, we will return to Kaş with the pleasure of having a nice day and memories.

Our Sea Kayak Tour starts at 08:00 in the morning and lasts until 16:00 in the afternoon. We recommend that our participating guests bring a long t-shirt, spare clothes, towel, hat, sunscreen, water and sea shoes.
